As the daughter of a farmer and an English teacher, she developed an early love for land and language arts that inspired her favorite hobbies of photography and writing poetry. She received a B.S. in English with a Mass Communication minor from Middle Tennessee State University, graduating summa cum laude. Gwen taught high school English for 19 years, including college level Advanced Placement English Language and Composition. Her poem "Line Dance" was published in Trout Magazine.vizualizați mai puține
