It was during his time in Alaska he met his wife-to-be, Jewel Petersen, a native of Hawaii, who also chose to call Alaska home. Sadly, Jewel passed in 2021 and he stayed in what they both considered their home state.
A close friend, giving him encouragement, told him to just write about what he knows. Thus, many of the people in his books are “inspired” by people he knows. Many of the adventures actually happened, but names and places have been altered to protect the guilty.
He continues to live in Anchorage, Alaska, and considers himself fortunate to have traveled extensively in both Alaska and Hawaii. As he learned to appreciate, especially as he grew older, everyone has a story behind them. We are indeed fortunate.vizualizați mai puține
