She went to Trinity Bible Institute (now College) in Ellendale, North Dakota where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Bible General with a minor in Missions. During her four years at Trinity, she traveled with the Trinity Troubadours singing all over the United States every summer. The leaders, Bob and Kaye Garrison, were careful to teach the Troubadours how to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and learn how to operate in the gifts of the Spirit while ministering to others. After Trinity, Renee attended the Assemblies of God Graduate School (now Theological Seminary) in Springfield, Missouri where she graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Cross-Cultural Communications. She attended nursing school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee and received two degrees: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). In 2006, Renee finished her Doctorate of Ministry (D.Min.) degree in Biblical Counseling at Trinity College of the Bible and Seminary in Newburgh, IN.Renee has been the worship leader, or as she prefers to call it, the “lead worshiper”, at three different churches over the last several years. She has been singing, guest speaking, teaching women’s Bible studies and Sunday School for almost four decades. Renee has been an ordained minister since 1999 with Evangel Fellowship International (EFI). She has been officially doing counseling since 2002. Renee started working as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) in rural health centers in 1995.She is officially a “snowbird” now, so splits her time between Michigan and Florida.God has given her a gift to write about what she believes will encourage others in their walk with God. Her hope is that through the pages of her books the readers will find encouragement, comfort, strength, hope, and healing.Contact her at: revdrrenee@juno.com.vizualizați mai puține
