He was a visiting psychiatrist at Prince Henrys Hospital in Melbourne. He was nominated as a Member of The American College of Sexologists. Dr Rose acted as a medical referee for the Commonwealth of Australia and became a foundation member of the Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He is married with two children, three step-children and two inter-country adopted children as well as many grandchildren.
