Nancy retired as executive director of a Magic Moments charity, which provides wishes for Alabama children who have life-threatening illnesses or are wheelchair-bound. She now volunteers for Magic Moments and is a member of the Birmingham League of Women Voters. She is married and has three sons and four grandchildren.
