He is author of Lost British Forts of Long Island (The History Press, 2017) and coauthor with the Lamar Institute of The Struggle for Long Island: Expanding Revolutionary War Studies in New York (2019), an extensive report that recorded and analyzed three fortification battlefield sites on the north shore of Long Island. He is an active contributor and author for the online Journal of the American Revolution.
