One of the meds prescribed for him had a silver lining: a study revealed the drug boosted creativity in 20 percent of patients. McCrory's first book, the nonfiction Capitalism Killed the Middle Class: 25 Ways the System is Rigged Against You, was a finalist in the writing category of the Page Turner Awards.
