He also studied Theology at the famous Canterbury Cathedral, Kent, England, the Headquarters of the Anglican Communion of the World, under the famous Dean and theologian -- Sir Dean John A. Simpson, OBE. Dr. Sydney Ugwunna served as Curate and Vicar in Ripon and Leeds Diocese, Church of England, as The Archdeacon at St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Umuahia, The Anglican Church of Nigeria, The Registrar and Professor of Theology at the famous Trinity Anglican Seminary, Umuahia, Nigeria; served as Rector in Episcopal parishes in Dioceses of Virginia and Maryland; served as Visiting Archdeacon from England at The Episcopal Washington National Cathedral, Washington D.C.
