He has an associate of arts degree in biblical studies, which he obtained from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. He has been an active volunteer at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital since 2010. He is also one of the original members in the Peer Mentor program for stroke survivors. He is an active member of One Accord Ministries International, where Bishop Dr. Jan D. Goodman Sr. is pastor and founder. As a deacon in ministry, he encourages others to keep hope and have faith in God.
