Following graduation he was a Peace Corps volunteer in Korea, then an English teacher and administrator in Japan, Iran, and Tacoma.
He joined the Foreign Service in 1988 and served on four continents and three islands before retiring. He now lives in Portland, Oregon, where he performs volunteer work, plays in several bands, and sometimes works as a substitute teacher.vizualizați mai puține
