She started her career as a trained journalist on the job. She graduated with bachelor of Science and Education at the University of Cape Coast and taught for several years. She worked with the Ghana Council for Science and Industrial Research as a technical editor and came to USA in 1990. She was called out to full-time ministry preparation in 1996 and was ordained in 1997.
