Born January 3, 1945, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Dr. Ashton graduated from Ohio State University and immediately entered the U. S. Navy. While on active duty, he completed his Master of Science degree and went on to complete his medical degree at Rush University College of Medicine. He has practiced surgery in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, since 1984, where he currently resides.
