Augoustides, MD, ABIHM, FAAFP or simply “Dr. A” has been in private practice since 1993, and has a solid background in Family Medicine with a special interest in Holistic Integrative Medicine. Dr. A earned his medical degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and completed his residency at Marshall University School Of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia, where he served as Chief Resident. Following this, he completed a family practice teaching fellowship program at ETSU in Johnson City, Tennessee.
A practicing physician, Dr. Augoustides has continued the legacy of his clinic, Piedmont Integrative Medicine, PA, which was established in 1984 under the leadership of Dr. Walter A. Ward. Dr. A took over stewardship of the clinic in 2004. Over the last 20 years, he has journeyed both personally and professionally in balancing the health of his patients. This has been the foundation for the Balance Rx© program at Piedmont Integrative Medicine, PA.
Outside of the practice, Dr. A enjoys photography in Reynolda Gardens, swimming and ocean kayaking, soaking up the sun on any NC beach, and attending church with his family. When asked what his life mantra is he usually replies, “I simply to go with the flow.”vizualizați mai puține
