She told me to write about what I know, and what I know is law enforcement. I have eleven years experience in corrections, patrol deputy, and currently in transportation. I’ve written short stories many years ago when I was in high school. As a job requirement, I have written legal reports of real-life incidents from people who sought help from my profession. My name is Niki, and I’m from a small town in South Louisiana.
