His small, 20 acre horse ranch with horses, dogs and other animals keeps him more than busy and in plenty enough trouble. His animals require constant attention and the place he shares with his wife needs continual maintenance and work to keep the place running. Buildin’, Mendin’, and Feedin’ are daily tasks and chores. He writes during what he defines as “easy” times; only when things are done, the sun is down, and when the animals have all received the care they need.
