During her tenure, she served in varied capacities during that time. She taught at many different levels, mentored teachers, ran workshops in the school system and throughout the Philadelphia area. She wrote curriculum that helped to broaden the manner in which children were taught, bringing them into the process of self directed learning. This eventually became the springboard for restructuring curriculum in the city of Philadelphia. Goldie has written numerous articles in the field of education. She was recognized by City Council for her efforts in advancing innovative techniques in the classroom and expanding the philosophy of individualized learning.
Goldie has written several books including a collaborative work with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Her book of poetry entitled A Daughter of Eve highlights her philosophy of life. These thoughts are also present in this latest book, a text novella about her life with her husband Alan, who has since passed from this world. He was the love of her life. Their life together provided the inspiration for so much of her work and was the prime motivating force for her latest book.vizualizați mai puține
