Ms Smith credits her grandfather for inspiring a Native spiritual bonding with his truly magnificent mountain lands on Pass Creek and Cochetopa Creek near Poncha Springs, Colorado. Ms Smith resides in Salida, Colorado, and travels extensively throughout the United States as a medical sonographer.
