Her career began at the Karamu Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio, and since then, she has directed, performed, produced, and written over a hundred plays for off-Broadway and regional theater. She is also a filmmaker and has produced a feature film entitled Blinded by Love and has directed several short films, including The Journey of Seven Guitars (a documentary on the making of August Wilson’s play Seven Guitars) and The Mattress Hustle (a comedy about the housing challenges of NYC). She was the producing director for the NEC Theatre Company in New York City for a number of years.
Ms. Watson Turner is a professor of theatre and multimedia performance at Lehman College of the City University of New York. She has three children and is married to musician Richard Vance Turner.vizualizați mai puține
