He is a retired factory worker, that thought he would try to write a book. Sutphin says he has always had an active imagination growing up watching "Gunsmoke" and "The Twilight Zone." He has written short stories in the western and science-fiction field. Sutphin has always been creative, playing in bands and writing music.
