Born to hardworking farmers in a remote village in Bosnia, a former Yugoslavian Republic, Nicholson moved to Australia in 2002 as a war refugee. There she obtained a degree in Library Information Services and went on to build a successful career in Library Services, working at some of the most renowned libraries in Victoria.Nicholson first became known for her romantic poetry with the book Stay With Me, but it did not take long for her writing in other genres to become equally popular and loved.
