I am a black woman who was born and raised in Cameroon and, as I like to say, matured in Canada where I had moved to when I was sixteen to study engineering. During my studies, I have had to design and program algorithms that needed to be translated into languages computers could understand. A skill I nurtured for years which turned into a habit. That habit spread to my thoughts and social interactions. I was trying to explain to myself why I was thinking the way I did, why I perceived human interactions the way I did, and why my perception was different than others’.I used to think of myself as a social anomaly because I was questioning things no one else seemed to question; then I found out being a “social anomaly” is more common than I thought. So, I wrote a book.vizualizați mai puține
