Unbeknownst to her, she was groomed for ministry at an early age by the late Mother R.T. Jones, the late Mother Gentry, Mother Fannie Coleman, Pastor Portia Coleman, and most of all her birth mother Apostle Julia Bennett.Because of her spiritual gifts, Prophetess Johnson was selected to be the assistant pastor of The Pentecostal Church of Christ in Philadelphia, PA, in 1997. In 1998, Prophetess Johnson and her family relocated outside of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, due to an employment opportunity, but returned to Philadelphia in 2005.In 2007, God chose, at the time, to use her and her husband, Elder Clarence Johnson, as spiritual leaders; and appointed them to be the Pastor and Co-Pastor of The Pentecostal Church of Christ. As they grew in spiritual leadership, God had another ministry in mind and relocated them, in 2010, to Clarksville TN to start the Manna From Heaven Ministry. When they thought this was it, God told them this was not it, and that He had another assignment for them. Prophetess Johnson received the assignment of a Prophetess, and her husband the assignment of a Bishop. Due to yet another movement of God, Bishop and Prophetess Johnson started Manna II: A Mobile Ministry which provided Bible study and mentorship via the internet to individuals across the United States.God has entrusted them with greater responsibility and has used them as critical instruments in the creation of the Ark of the Covenant Ministry, a spiritual non-denominational organization headed by Apostle Julia Bennett of Philadelphia PA.After God relocated them to Germany for ministry, God entrusted Prophetess Shannon yet again with spiritual responsibility, and instructed her to start a Facebook Group Page entitled “Now, Go Tell That! Now, Go Tell That! is a group page that promotes inspiration and motivation by showing how Biblical pioneers loved, trusted and believed God through their experiences, and to show us how we can do the same. Trust and believe since God did it for them, He is doing it for us.To further reach individuals, Prophetess Shannon asked God to continuously be an effective and useful vessel for Him. God told Prophetess Shannon to write this book entitled “This Is Why I Stayed”.Note to future self: Whatever God tells you to do, just do it!
