Dr. Molly Joseph took her Doctorate from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2004 for her thesis on Post War American Poetry ( William Carlos Williams). She was publishing papers and doing Post Doctoral work till she retired from service at St. Xavier’s College Aluva, as the Head of the Department of English. She has completed 32 years of service in St. Xavier’s College for Women as a Teacher of English language and literature.
Dr. Molly Joseph has had her specialization in Language training at IFLU (Indian and Foreign Language University) Hyderabad, securing Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching of English. As a teacher-trainer, she conducts classes in institutions, is a sought after speaker and motivator. As a person who loves travelling, she writes travelogues. Her shortlisted poems were published and read at ‘The International Poetry Fest’ held at JPC College Guntur, India on 12th December 2012. As a writer with social commitment and a humanist with passion, she involves herself in activities related to the public.
Her passion for language and literature takes her to writing. Writing is the apt media to relate oneself to the world around. She lives in Kerala, the land of rivers and mountains, known as ‘The God’s Own Country’ which is the southern most state of India. She inherits the Indian ethos of family values and relationships and is blessed with a happy family. The collection of poems ‘Aching Melodies’ is a lament on the withering ecology which pervades as a part of global phenomena.
Dr. Molly Joseph has joined FISAT (Federal Institute of Science and Technology), Kerala, as Professor in Communicative English in July 2011 and is the Faculty Member of FISAT Business School.vizualizați mai puține
