He was ordained by the Methodist Church Ghana in 1995. He also had his bachelor of divinity (BD) at the same seminary and graduated in 2001. The author obtained his master of theology (ThM) at Princeton Theological Seminary (NJ, USA) in 2006 and had his clinical pastoral education at Deaconess Hospital at Evansville (IN). He also got his doctor of theology (ThD) at Candler School of Theology, Emory University (GA, USA) in 2012.
