Alan Stumbo is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in two specialties: Aircraft avionics and emergency medicine. Following his two terms in the military, and several years in the civilian sector, he married his college sweetheart, Rachelle, who encouraged him to return to college and complete his degree. He has attended Central Lakes College of Brainerd, Minnesota, the University of Minnesota in Duluth, and he is a graduate of Crown College Christian Ministry program.
