I believe that love is a universal language, and that my life will have been worth living if the story of the unfortunate orphan Meenakshi and her one true love touches the hearts of fellow travelers like me.
Much of this story is true. Meenakshi, an orphan from Srirangapatna, lived many years ago and was as beautiful in real life as in this fictionalized account. She worked as a servant. She had compassion and love for those who abused her. She truly lived for others. May God bless those beautiful souls, like Meenakshi, who live their lives for the sake of others. Amen!
