As a form of therapy, I wrote my experience down because I felt it would help other women, especially African Americans, who are proportionately discriminated against more so than other ethnic groups.
I am what is southernly referred to as a GRITS-Girl Raised In The South. Born and raised in Atlanta, I attended (at the time) a well known academically acclaimed high school. It took me a while to get in the college spirit; but once I did, I attended several institutions of higher learning. One of those colleges was Brenau where I received my associate degree in Business Administration. I think it was my mother or maybe my sister that labeled me a professional student, due to the fact that I also have an ABA paralegal certificate from The National Center of Paralegal Training, I completed GMLS Real Estate school, although I am not licensed yet, I have a certificate from the Thomas Institute for P & C Insurance, and I attended Georgia State University working on a minor in Psychology. I have decided to go back to GSU to complete my studies in Psychology and get my masters in Business, so as you can see, I am a studemt of learning. I have always been told that you are never to old to learn and as you can see I truly believe that you are not. I believe that if you think there is nothing else for you to learn or know, then life has no amazement or wonder for you and you are only existing.vizualizați mai puține
