She spent the next eight years working in Aboriginal communities working for World Vision in developing countries including Ethiopia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Liberia and Central Australia. Vivien had been the Director of Teen Challenge Centralia from 2004-2013, where she mainly worked with Indigenous youth caught up in substance abuse. Since 2003 she has and still is working for the Alice Springs Domestic Violence Women's Shelter as a case worker. Vivien also does a lot of voluntary work for Indigenous youth running Shine self esteem programs for young girls and women. She also runs an adapted 12 Step Plus program. Just recently she organised a horse whisperers camp for Aboriginal teenage girls and and boys to learn about life skills and Christian principles.vizualizați mai puține
