She received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Middle Tennessee State University and it was in Nashville that she joined forces with Paul Lopes on this story and the accompanying screenplay.
One of nine children, Maura’s own children and stepchildren live in New York, California and the United Kingdom. She now lives in Florida with her husband and their dog.
