He trained as a Veterinary Surgeon opening several private practices. He took ten years out Banana Farming, where he worked closely with different cultures. Nick sailed extensively in the Indian Ocean, Mozambique being a favourite venue. Then eventually he moved to England to open a veterinary practice. Now retired he returns frequently to Africa to travel his native country and beyond, with its sand roads and wild game.
