Before becoming a teacher, Stacie worked in the medical field, returning to college when her youngest daughter started grade school. She earned her bachelor's degree at Oregon State University, in 2007 and her Master's degree there two years later.
Stacie started her professional teaching career as an Adapted Physical Education Specialist where she understood her calling to work with students with special learning needs. She is currently pursuing her second Master's degree in Special Education.
