Growing up with fourteen siblings introduced her to many personalities; and, conditioned her to be open to a wide range of eccentricity. Living in the Vermont Heights of Los Angeles, and the death of two sons fueled the poetic talent dormant since childhood. After leaving Los Angeles and moving to Jefferson, Texas in 1995, she had more time to devote to her writing of poetry, short stories, prose and songs. She is invited to speak, read her poetry, and sing songs, (written by her) throughout the local communities.
