Ann enjoys her job teaching freshman writing at Montclair State University where she is also a Fellow in a group introducing Contemplative Pedagogy practices to universities around the country.
Her short stories have been published in the literary press: Phantasmagoria, Under The Sun, and Phoebe. Her poetry has been published in a local publication, Offerings 2. An academic essay Beyond Grammar: Linguistics in Language and Writing Courses was published in the Duke University journal, Pedagogy. She excels in public speaking and has presented at academic conferences and done well received public readings of her work.
