He attended primary and secondary from 1970 to 1981 in Kitwe, Copperbelt province of Zambia. He studied theology at Justo Mwale Theological University College, a Reformed Seminary in Lusaka, for four years. He subsequently enrolled at the University of Pretoria, where he obtained a BA Honors in Practical Theology in 2004; followed by a master’s degree in Practical Theology cum laude in 2005. 2011 he obtained a PHD in Practical theology.
