In addition to her reporting, her nonfiction has appeared in magazines such as "Rhode Island Monthly." Her fiction has been featured in "South Dakota Review." She also co-wrote a nonfiction book published by Random House some years ago and is currently working on another short-story collection.
The stories in her first collection of short fiction--"The Evolving Light of Night"--came randomly, at odd moments when the characters began telling her stuff they should have kept to themselves. The notion for "The Nun, the Gun, and Tom Mix" arose from a one-time news item she heard on the radio about the drug cartels in Mexico and their infiltration into the music business. She was driving by the Tom Mix Memorial outside Tucson at the time.vizualizați mai puține
