Her first book was the non-fiction guide, Antenatal & Postnatal Depression, published by Random House in 2000. She then wrote three novels for adults: Sweet FA, Frankie Says Relapse and The Scene Stealers, all published by Hodder & Stoughton. In 2010, her first novel for young adults, Dear Dylan won the Young Minds Book Award. Her other novels for young adults are Finding Cherokee Brown and the Shipwrecked series (which is currently being developed for TV). Her next YA book, True Face: Be Real. Be Fearless. Be You is being published by Faber in April 2015.
