He is an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II and served as an area editor for the International Journal of Electronics and Communications from 2011 to 2013. He served as the TPC co-chair for the IEEE Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON) in 2012 and 2013. He received the NSF Faculty Early CAREER Award in 2013, the Texas Tech Alumni Association New Faculty Award in 2012, and the IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship Award in 2008.
