Narisha Rajnandan was born in South Africa, a land where fantasy and reality have often met. I worked in a law firm but spent most of my free time writing and creating characters. I draw my inspiration from all things creative, from both the written and visual media. I am also inspired by family and friends. This is my first novel. My brothers inspired me to write the Black Rose; they were keenly aware that it my dream to become a writer.
