He enjoys the slow pace the town still offers though he is aware that this is becoming a rarity. He admits that he has only dabbled in writing since high school and has never taken it seriously, although it is something he has always meant to get to. The Selfish Elf started out being just an idea he had for a gift exchange one Christmas, but it turned into something he felt was worth sharing with others. This is the author’s first published story ever and is written for those who still have a large place in their hearts for Christmas and what it is truly about.
