I had fifteen brothers and sisters, of which I was the youngest of the girls. We all grew up in a Christian home where the Bible was taught and lived out in our home. We all obeyed our father and mother by their enforcing rules with great care and compassion, but yet with much love. Mother was the one who managed the authority when it came to church activities and her rules were exemplified in every walk of her life and carried down to each of her children.
I loved my father, mother and siblings, being they were a vast part of my life. There certainly was plenty of communication between the family and we all understood our roles in helping out around the house. We knew to follow instructions from our parents, how to respect one another, always treat people with kindness, never say anything unkind about anybody and of course the golden rule always applies and still does today, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
At the age of 23 years old; I accepted Christ as my personal Savior; ask Him to reside in my heart and have now been a Christian for 33 years. We have been members of Denver Baptist Church for several years and our son grew up as an active member of the youth group. I count it all joy to be members of a body of believers where the Bible is taught and love is spread among the members.vizualizați mai puține
