He was a decorated pilot during the Vietnam War and wrote his first book titled Warriors at 500 Knots about his experiences flying the F-4D Phantom in combat.
He currently lives and flies with his wife in Tucson, Arizona in their Mooney 252 aircraft. They both enjoy flying across the states and meeting interesting people involved in the field of aviation.
