She has translated two books for Dedalus:The Desert and the Drum by Mbarek Ould Beyrouk & Co-wives, Co-widows by Adrienne Yabouza. Her translation of The Desert and the Drum was shortlisted for The Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize & her translation of Kerstin Specht's play Marieluise won the Gate Theatre/Allied Domecq translation prize.
