He is also the founder and president of Orient of Peace Bible Institute where he is also a lecturer. Jesus appeared to him twice (first when he was fourteen, giving him an invitation to follow Him, and again when he was twenty-four and when Austin accepted to follow Him). Austin was formerly a unit manager at Great Nigeria Insurance Company PLC head office in Lagos, Nigeria. He received his ministerial training under Bishop David O. Oyedepo at Word of Faith Bible Institute Lagos, where the Bishop and his wife was among his lecturers.
