She has a bachelors in English and French from Moravian College, a bachelors in international affairs from Lafayette College, and has started graduate work in world history, her interest lying in French post-colonial Africa and Muslim relations. She loves to travel, favors Djibouti, works or has worked with various non-profits including Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab, Mary Meuser Memorial Library and anti-human trafficking group ASPIRE to Autonomy. She fosters cats, blogs and makes corny YouTube videos, and launched Parisian Phoenix Publishing with graphic designer Gayle Hendricks. She lives in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania with her teen daughter, a dog that's too big, some cats, a parakeet and a Goffin's cockatoo with a whole lot of attitude.
