children’s literature and literacy; and traveling to Guatemala to help teachers enhance their curricula and develop strategies for teaching reading. She
has published articles and lessons for teachers to teach content area curricula utilizing children’s and teen literature. Her love of children’s books has
led her to acquire a personal collection of hundreds of books.
Carol L. Levy has been an avid reader of all genres. She started a book club in her school district for teachers and an evening club where she lived,
running both for many years. She continues to co-chair a book club in her new hometown of Boynton Beach, Florida.
