He is a former Assistant Professor of Medicine and consultant in Psychiatry at a large Chicago medical center. Dr. Karrel was also a consultant to the Multiple Personality Disorders Program (Dissociative Disorders Program) and founder of the medical center’s Chemical Dependency Program.
