Over the past 22 plus years in service, she has served thousands of men, women, and children as an advocate, counselor, and speaker. Tonya has been recognized by women leaders in the community for her work as the founder of the not-for-profit charity Braid the Ladder.
In addition to service, Tonya makes time for family, friends, laughter, music, movies, storytelling, reading, writing, DIY projects, and stage performance; because these things bring her joy and happiness.
