As a young girl her first ambitions were in the helping professions leading her to seek an education in social work. However, disheartened by the injustices of the systems, she now pursues her second love which is writing. Gracie is drawn to reading: her bible, the classics, history, or works relating to personal struggles and victories. Although, she ventures into all genres.
