My wife and I had lived in the sunny state of Queensland most of our married lives. Surrounded by stunning beaches, amazing mountains and unique, rugged beauty in such a striking part of the world, I found an abundance of wonderful inspiration, with a myriad of topics to write about.
Now, we live on a mountain in the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. As I write, overlooking our own mountain brook, I can easily become lost in thought about our own beautiful Canadian forest. This provides even more inspiration.
It is my firm belief that readers desire realistic, impacting stories filled with romance, action and suspense, and I make it my goal always to provide these thrilling components. And while I genuinely love to write, my utmost pleasure comes from trying to surprise the reader at the end of a novel. In my view, the ‘twist’ at the end, the ‘sting in the tail’, is the ultimate goal. Hence, it is my desire to be recognised always as a writer who delivers memorable, even shocking reality, as well as love and life, but while always seeking to ‘trick’ the reader, leaving him or her to reel at the final twist!vizualizați mai puține
