At the age of 17, Francis had an apocalyptic encounter with an old man, called Brother Joseph Jackson Amankwaa. He predicted Francis would become a Word Writer. He treated this prophecy with boyish levity until after his further education in England.
The inspiration to write a book irresistibly impinged upon Francis. His first focus was on the need to start a book project on Christian living to fill some of the gaps in Christian education. The end result was the production of “Understanding Jesus” – Volume 1. Francis was contemplating on improving the chapter on the Covenant of Circumcision in another edition, when for an inexplicable reason; he started writing about European integration.
